Treks in Nepal

The Everest and Annapurna regions provide the most popular routes for longer treks. The mountains are not only challenging, they are inspiringly beautiful and provide spectacular views over a variety of landscapes every step of the way.

Tthere are facilities for trekkers all along the route and you are assured excellent views of the Himalayas, the highland mountains and the lowland villages, stopping each night at the small villages sprawled all over the hillside.

EVEREST
Everest treks are classic walks from Lukla into the north Khumbu region, at the foothills of the world’s highest mountain. The mountain views on this trek are arguably the best in Nepal, with imposing peaks surrounding trekkers at all times. The trail to base camp has a network of small but facilitated lodges which makes the programs ideal for lodge-based trekking. The pace is relaxed with rest days allowing for proper acclimatization, but a sound level of fitness is pre-requisite as some days are fairly strenuous.

ANNAPURNA

Pokhara is Nepal’s second most popular tourist destination, a city of lakes, mountains, and adventure sport.  To the north of the city lie the Annapurnas and the Kali Gandaki valley. It usually takes a minimum of 18 days to trek around the entire Annapurna Massif. There are tea shops and lodges about every hour all along the route from Bashishar to Pokhara. The trek offers fantastic views of some of the highest peaks in the world. You can also enjoy dozens of waterfalls, glaciers, flora & fauna, mammals, and rural villages with different ethnic groups and cultures. .
